INFORMATION, WITH CARE

A clearer next step.
Not a diagnosis.

dental.chat is an independent educational AI service. It helps you understand dental symptoms, explore treatment options and prepare questions for a dentist. It cannot examine you, interpret X-rays, provide a diagnosis or prescribe treatment.

When to get help now

Difficulty breathing or swallowing, severe spreading mouth or neck swelling, eye swelling or vision changes, or heavy bleeding that won’t stop need emergency medical help. Call 112 in the EU or your local emergency number. Do not wait for an AI response.

Suspected dental infection, swelling with fever, severe persistent pain, or a knocked-out adult tooth need urgent dental attention. Contact a dentist promptly. The assistant can be unavailable or mistaken; it is not an emergency service.

How to use an answer

Treat explanations as possibilities to discuss with a qualified professional. AI can miss important information or generate incorrect statements. Always follow your own dentist’s personalised treatment and aftercare instructions. Cost estimates are illustrative, vary by country and public/private system, and are not quotes. Ask your practice for a written estimate.
